The disposable luer-lock injection sites
are utilized, one hand, as channels or connected sites for a need of longer
periods of time infusions. On the other hand, when continuous infusions are no
longer needed. Injection the site is used for concluding the pigtail bub or
injection port like a cap, and also utilized as connected sites for intermittent
infusions or injections.
The heparin locks can withstand repeated
puncture, they can be as a fluid passage through the injection needle, such as
injecting heparin to main patency. But the clave connector do not need injection
needle as a fluid passage. When infusing, it is only connected wiht the pigtail
hub or tubes.
